Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accountant – Factoring is responsible for managing all accounting activities related to factoring agreements, including receivables assignment, postings, reconciliation, and coordination with factoring partners. The role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely processing of transactions related to factored receivables. This position plays a key role in supporting cash flow optimization and financial transparency while working closely with treasury, accounting, and external partners Manage day-to-day accounting activities related to factoring transactions and assigned receivables Record, monitor, and reconcile factored and non-factored accounts receivable in accordance with accounting standards Ensure accurate posting of factoring fees, interest, and related financial charges Reconcile factoring statements received from financial institutions with internal accounting records Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to factoring and accounts receivable Prepare and maintain documentation related to factoring contracts, postings, and reconciliations Collaborate with Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and external factoring partners to resolve discrepancies and operational issues Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, IFRS / local GAAP requirements, and audit standards Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations Identify process improvement opportunities related to factoring accounting and receivables management University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to accounts receivable, factoring, or treasury-related activities Experience working in a shared service center or international finance environment is an advantage Solid understanding of accounting principles related to receivables, financial instruments, and cash flow Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
