Accounts Payable Specialist

That's why were partnering with a leading global organization in the chemical and manufacturing industry to find an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist for their growing Shared Service Center. About the Role: As an AP Specialist, you will support end-to-end Accounts Payable activities within a Shared Service Center environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate invoice processing, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and contributing to efficient and compliant financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices in SAP, ensuring accuracy, correct coding, and proper PO matching Handle invoice discrepancies, blocked invoices, and workflow exceptions in a timely manner Act as a point of contact for vendors, resolving queries and supporting smooth communication Perform vendor reconciliations and help clear open or aged items Support reporting, KPI tracking, and analysis of AP performance Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax requirements, and company policies Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other teams to resolve issues efficiently Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and system enhancements.
