The Accounts Payable Specialist will handle the accounts payable for the organization. This role will make sure that bills are accurate and paid on time and that any invoices are received and authorized. This position is critical to the health of the company as it impacts on the budget and cashflow. The AP Specialist will report directly to the Assistant Controller for the IMCD US organization.  

This position is required to sit in the Westlake, Ohio office.

Successful candidates will be responsible to:
Perform the full cycle of Accounts Payable
Enter invoices into JD Edwards while ensuring proper approval
Process payments to vendor within terms
Communicate with vendors about payment for their services
Track expenses in a general ledger
Collect expense reports and purchase orders from other departments
Reconcile all outstanding debts

Skills:
Ability to be both strategic and hands-on and provide critical support to the organization
Ability to execute in line with our Principal and Customer focused strategy
Ability to provide outstanding service and drive functional excellence and process improvement

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma

Desired Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Accounting

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job currently operates on a hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remote work environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
