We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented, Shared Services, AR Supervisor to lead global accounts receivable (AR) while reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable SSC. This role offers the opportunity to influence global AR operations during a period of transformation, lead a blended onshore and offshore team, and help shape scalable processes in a growing shared services environment. The AR Supervisor will manage both onshore and offshore team members, ensure timely receivables collections and cash applications, resolve complex issues, and improve AR processes. Key Responsibilities AR Management Supervise and mentor Accounts Receivable staff, including workload management, training, and performance development. Oversee daily AR operations, including cash application, collections, and account reconciliations. Manage and review aging reports and collection metrics; identify accounts that need attention. Resolve escalated or complex customer account issues, including payment delays, unapplied cash, disputed balances, and reconciliation discrepancies. Partner with billing, credit, and senior leadership to resolve process or customer issues that delay payment. Set measurable individual and team goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback to build a high-performing AR team. Team Leadership (Onshore & Offshore) Manage a blended onshore and offshore team in a multi-entity environment by setting expectations, assigning work, and monitoring performance. Lead regular check-ins, coaching, and performance discussions. Ensure strong communication and alignment between US and offshore teams. Maintain consistent coverage and smooth operations across time zones. Process & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Identify process gaps and lead improvements to reduce DSO and increase efficiency. Support AR-related projects, tracking milestones and communicating with stakeholders. Promote best practices across all AR teams and help evaluate and implement AR automation tools. Report key AR metrics to division leadership on a regular cadence. Cross-Functional Collaboration Build strong relationships with sales, customer service, finance, and shared services. Communicate professionally with customers about outstanding balances and disputes. Support finance leadership with cash forecasting and period-end reporting. Partner with Credit Analysts on customer financial reviews and risk assessments. Qualifications Skills Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for team performance Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities Advanced Excel - required Experience with automation tools - preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required. Experience 5+ years progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, or Order-to-Cash operations. 2+ years of leadership experience managing a team of 5-10 employees in a global, regional, or shared services environment. Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, JDE, HighRadius, BlackLine, or similar platforms; experience managing customer and vendor master data within a global organization is preferred. Background in large, multi-entity organizations is a plus
