We’re placing an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for a leading Australian online education company. You’ll manage the collections function within their support team — responding to student enquiries, handling inbound calls, following up on outstanding payments, monitoring an AI outbound calling agent, and preparing reports. The key to this role is your ability to negotiate empathetically: you’re not chasing debts aggressively, you’re helping students find a payment solution that works for them while protecting the business. This is a stable, permanent full-time role with a well-established Australian education provider. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING • Respond to student payment enquiries via email and inbound calls • Follow up students who require assistance with outstanding payments • Work alongside AI-powered customer engagement tools (Pearl AI) to support outbound collections activity — full training provided • Negotiate payment plans and solutions with students in a professional and empathetic manner • Manage collections activity in Salesforce and update records accurately • Process and reconcile payment activity in Xero • Prepare collections reports and complete administrative tasks Requirements Must Have • Background in collections, sales, or customer support with collections exposure • Comfortable handling conflict and difficult conversations professionally and with empathy • Strong communication and negotiation skills — you find solutions, not just chase payments • Experience using a CRM system for collections or accounts management — Salesforce experience is highly preferred • Experience using an accounting system for payment processing or reconciliation — Xero experience is highly preferred • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Self-sufficient, proactive, and able to take initiative without constant direction • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Preferred • Experience in the education, training, or student services sector • Experience working with or monitoring AI calling tools or automation platforms • Report preparation and data management experience Benefits • ₱45,000 – 55,000 per month • 13th month pay • HMO coverage • 15 annual leave + 5 sick leave + 20 PTO credits upon regularisation • Comprehensive Training • 100% work from home • Exposure to AI-powered customer engagement tools • Direct exposure to Australian business culture and operations • Small, supportive team with long-term career stability • Full-time, permanent position with an established Australian company • Staff Events • Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PHT If you have the collections experience, the negotiation skills, and the empathy to help students find payment solutions — apply now.
