Construction Estimator | Carpentry & Plastering | WFH Philippines | Full-Time

Job Description This is a remote position. Join a well-established Australian building and renovation firm as their dedicated Construction Estimator, preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimates and tender submissions for residential and commercial carpentry and plastering projects using Cubit. You'll work independently while collaborating closely with the Australian estimating team to deliver accurate, on-time tenders. What You'll Do ● Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction drawings using Cubit ● Prepare detailed cost estimates for plastering (fixing, setting, rendering) and carpentry (framing, fit-out, joinery) works ● Apply current material and labor rates to build competitive, accurate quotes ● Liaise with suppliers to confirm material pricing and availability ● Prepare and submit tender/bid documentation within deadlines ● Cross-check drawings for scope gaps, discrepancies, or missing details and flag them to the project team ● Maintain and update pricing databases and rate libraries ● Track estimate versions and respond to variations or scope changes ● Communicate with the Australia-based team via Teams and email for clarifications and handovers Requirements ● 3+ years' estimating experience, ideally with plastering and/or carpentry trade exposure ● Proficient in Cubit estimating software (required); familiarity with Buildsoft, CostX, or Bluebeam a plus ● Strong understanding of Australian residential/commercial building methods and material standards ● Ability to read and interpret architectural/construction drawings accurately ● Solid written and spoken English for client-facing communication ● Comfortable working Australian day-shift hours (9am–5pm AEST) ● High attention to detail and comfort working to deadlines Benefits ● ₱65,000–75,000/month ● 13th month pay ● HMO coverage ● 15 annual leave + 5 sick leave + 20 PTO credits upon regularisation ● Comprehensive training ● 100% work from home ● Full-time, permanent position with an established Australian company ● Staff events ● Monday to Friday
