About the Role As an A/R & Owner Statement Accountant , you will own the revenue cycle from reservation through owner payout. You'll be responsible for reconciling booking revenue and channel deposits in Guesty and QuickBooks Online , maintaining accurate separation between trust and operating activity, and producing the monthly owner statements our homeowners rely on. Owner deadlines are critical, and this role plays a key part in ensuring they are met accurately and on time. You'll work closely with the Accounting Manager and support clean, accurate, auditable financials that meet the high standards of the Collective. Key Responsibilities Prepare and distribute monthly owner statements and support owner distributions on schedule. Reconcile reservation revenue and channel payouts from direct bookings, Airbnb, Vrbo, and other OTAs against deposits received. Perform guest folio audits and review undeposited funds and advance deposit activity. Apply owner chargebacks and reimbursable expenses accurately to the appropriate property and statement period. Bill homeowners for management fees, cleaning and maintenance rebills, damage claims, and other applicable charges. Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging, including researching short payments, resolving discrepancies, and following up on outstanding balances. Research and resolve chargebacks, refunds, and payment processing exceptions. Prepare draft bank reconciliations for trust and operating accounts. File applicable county and state lodging taxes. Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations for assigned properties. Respond to owner and internal team inquiries accurately, clearly, and promptly. Support annual audits, financial reporting, and other accounting projects as needed. Requirements Must-Have Qualifications Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience, with 5+ years preferred, working with a U.S., Canadian, Australian, or UK-based employer. 2+ years of property management or vacation rental accounting experience. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online . Demonstrated experience with revenue reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, and/or owner statement preparation. Ability to work some hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone (EST) and occasional weekends. Full-time availability of 40–45 hours per week . Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience working with Guesty PMS . Familiarity with Topkey . Familiarity with NetSuite . Trust accounting experience. Familiarity with Notion and Slack .
