Your Role

As an AU Accounts Receivable Payment Allocation Officer, you are responsible for:

• Bank Statement uploaded into company's quick payments (statement provided by a member of the A/R team)
• Print MINT report ensuring all items have been entered and allocated
• Post quick payment receipts from the previous day
• Receipts entered and allocated (company quick payments) including all Cheques; Eftpos; Credit cards, Cash, Direct Debits, MINT
• Maintenance of all customer communications in the system including date, any invoice copies supplied, POD requests etc.
• Reconciliation of customer accounts as required
• Unallocated list to be reviewed and allocated where possible
• Prompt reporting of unpaid invoices to the relevant A/R clerk after allocation of payments are complete
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Degree in Accountancy or related
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Proficient in Google Apps and MS Office
• Well organised and process oriented
• Attention to detail with a high proficiency level of account reconciliation skills
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage expectations
• Ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company
