Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Basel, with a mix of on-site rehearsals, performances, and occasional work from home for preparation and administrative tasks. The Actress will participate in auditions, rehearsals, and live performances for musicals, plays, and improv shows, working closely with directors, cast members, and production teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include learning lines, songs, and choreography; developing characters; attending costume fittings; and contributing to ensemble work. The role also involves participating in workshops or training sessions, supporting promotional activities, and maintaining professional readiness for stage and, where applicable, film or recorded projects.

Qualifications

• Strong performance skills in Acting and Drama, with the ability to portray diverse characters on stage.
• Music abilities, such as singing or instrumental performance, suitable for musical theatre.
• Understanding of Casting processes, including auditions and callbacks, and ability to take direction constructively.
• Basic familiarity with Film Production or recorded performance work is an advantage.
• Professional training or education in theatre, performing arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in ensembles and creative teams.
• Commitment to punctuality, rehearsal discipline, and ongoing skill development.
• Comfort working in English; additional language skills (e.g., German) are beneficial but not mandatory.
