Actuarial Analyst

We're building a high-impact Actuarial Modelling & Support team and are looking for a talented Data Scientist to help shape how we forecast, analyse and drive business performance across a global organisation.

What you'll be doing

As a Data Scientist within our Actuarial Modelling & Support team, you'll work at the intersection of actuarial science, data science and commercial decision-making. You'll help develop and enhance our proprietary forecasting model, analyse large-scale customer and transactional datasets, and provide insights that influence strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

✅ Developing and enhancing financial forecasting and modelling tools

✅ Building reporting dashboards and visualisations in Power BI

✅ Analysing customer and business performance data to identify trends and opportunities

✅ Running scenario modelling and forecasting exercises

✅ Collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial and Technology teams

✅ Applying statistical techniques, regression models and predictive analytics to solve business problems

✅ Supporting model users and helping drive adoption across the business

What we're looking for

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline
• 3+ years' experience in an actuarial, modelling or analytics environment
• Strong Python, SQL and Excel skills
• Experience building analytical models and deriving actionable insights from data
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Progress towards actuarial qualifications is highly desirable

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI
• Experience with stochastic modelling, Monte Carlo simulations, GLMs or time-series analysis
• Knowledge of actuarial modelling platforms such as Tyche or Prophet
• Experience using R or other statistical programming languages
