As an Actuarial Associate (or Actuarial Assistant, depending on experience), you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Supplemental Health products. You’ll lead pricing and strategy efforts with visibility across the organization, while collaborating closely with both actuarial and non-actuarial partners. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications): Actuarial Assistant (pre-ASA): $80,000 - $103,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. Actuarial Associate (ASA): $113,000 - $144,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Perform pricing, profitability management, and monitoring of Supplemental Health products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products remain competitive and financially sound, identifying adjustments as needed, and serving as the project leader for pricing efforts to coordinate smoothly across teams. Analyze assumptions, develop rates, and provide financial projections. Your work will directly inform product creation and definition, guiding both strategy and day-to-day decisions. Review results to spot trends, recommend actions, and support risk management. This includes both financial and non-financial outcomes, ensuring compliance with actuarial standards and proactive management of product performance. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and present insights in clear, simple terms. You’ll work closely with Valuation, FP&A, Claims, Underwriting, and Sales, translating technical concepts into actionable recommendations. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Successful completion of Exam P and one other exam offered by the Society of Actuaries is required, plus an ongoing commitment to attain a fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA). Solid actuarial background with experience in pricing (preferred). Familiarity with AXIS or other actuarial modeling tools. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners. Ability to lead projects, influence outcomes, and collaborate across diverse teams. A mix of analytical depth and big-picture thinking. You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
