Acumatica Functional Consultant - Part-time Position Title: Acumatica Functional Consultant Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Part-Time: 20 hours per week | Pacific Standard Time (PST) | Remote Position Title: Acumatica Functional Consultant Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Acumatica Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Acumatica ERP solutions. This is a part-time (20 hours per week) contract position working during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours. The ideal candidate has strong functional consulting experience, excels at gathering business requirements, and has expertise in one or more Acumatica ERP modules, including Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Project Accounting. What You’ll Be Doing: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. Configure and customize Acumatica ERP modules to meet company business needs. Lead module-level implementation activities, including setup, testing, and deployment. Provide functional guidance and recommend best practices based on Acumatica capabilities. Conduct solution demonstrations, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with issue resolution. Collaborate with technical consultants and developers for customizations and integrations. Prepare functional specifications and implementation documentation. Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvement recommendations. What You’ll Need: 3+ years of experience as an Acumatica Functional Consultant or ERP Functional Consultant with Acumatica expertise. Hands-on experience configuring one or more of the following Acumatica modules: Financial Management, Distribution Management, Manufacturing, Project Accounting. Strong experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering. Experience leading workshops and translating business requirements into system solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a company-facing consulting environment. What Will Set You Apart: Experience participating in multiple full-cycle Acumatica ERP implementations. Acumatica certifications are highly preferred. Experience working with cross-functional teams in remote environments. Knowledge of ERP integrations and reporting tools is a plus.
