Acumen Regional Manager (Northern QLD)

We're seeking an experienced and commercially minded Manager to lead both on and off base service delivery across a designated military region, supporting our Defence and rehabilitation contracts.

The opportunity

You’ll lead regional operations, build high-performing teams and strengthen Defence stakeholder relationships. Achieve sustainable outcomes for our military members.

• Lead, manage and report on regional service delivery operations to ensure contractual KPIs, service standards, and compliance requirements are achieved.

• Promote a strong culture of clinical governance, safety, and continuous quality improvement, ensuring relevant standards and regulatory requirements are met.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with ADF representatives (ie Commanding Officers, Health Centre Managers, Regional Rehab Managers). Act as the escalation point for complex customer or stakeholder issues.

• Lead, coach, and develop teams to achieve operational and strategic goals. Support workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and capability development initiatives. Foster a culture that promotes employee wellbeing, engagement, professional development, and workplace safety.

• Manage regional P&L performance, revenue, margin, and EBITDA outcomes ensuring commercial outcomes balance service quality outcomes.

• Represent Acumen Health at customer meetings, contract reviews, and industry forums.

About You

You are a strategic and influential leader who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and enjoys building capable, engaged teams.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, or another relevant Allied Health discipline with current professional registration
• Minimum 5 years' experience within occupational rehabilitation, injury management or similar
• Strong operational leadership and people management experience, with exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated success managing customers with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for Defence personnel and veterans.
• Experience managing budgets, commercial outcomes, or financial performance metrics.
