Role summary

You will lead the investigation, analysis and resolution of complex ADAS software issues across vehicle, system and software layers. You will drive root cause analysis, supplier coordination and architecture corrective actions, ensuring compliance with functional safety and cybersecurity standards and timely closure of programme-critical defects and production escalations. Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex programme blockers and software defects across ADAS application software, AUTOSAR layers, Linux/QNX platforms, middleware, CAN and Ethernet networks and sensor integration.

• Perform root cause analysis for safety-critical and performance-related concerns.

• Lead supplier issue-resolution workshops and coordinate with OEM engineering teams, Tier-1 suppliers, system engineers and software developers.

• Escalate and resolve Start of Production (SOP) critical software issues and support customer-facing technical discussions.

• Review software designs and define corrective architecture changes for performance, functional, safety, cybersecurity and integration issues.

• Ensure fixes align with the long-term platform architecture strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.

• Substantial experience in automotive embedded software architecture, including ownership of complex ADAS systems and escalation resolution.

Skills required

• AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive.

• Embedded C/C++ and Linux.

• Automotive Ethernet, CAN and diagnostics.

• ADAS system architecture.

• Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434).

• Root cause analysis, problem-resolution management and stakeholder management.
