Adjunct Faculty - Academic Support - Pharmacy

The Center for Academic Success & Enrichment is seeking a part-time faculty (professional) tutor to support the School of Pharmacy – Worcester/Manchester. The selected candidate will offer remote and/or in-person academic tutoring support to students enrolled in in the Accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Offer weekly tutoring availability for students enrolled in the first and second years of the Accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy program Facilitate tutoring sessions in an in-person and/or ent Provide individualized feedback specific to student tutees as it relates to their competency with subject matter Use the University’s learning management and scheduling system to communicate with students and document sessions Provide feedback to the program as it relates to observed student trends, concerns, and the like Promotes engagement with and application of course content during sessions as to demonstrate the real-world applications of concepts covered Provide service including student mentoring, ongoing course development, and assessment Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor Preferred Qualifications: Experience in and/or familiarity with the School of Pharmacy Worcester/Manchester Accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy program Required: Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Commitment to undergraduate, graduate and/or professional education and student success Demonstrates proficiency with educational and workplace technologies, including learning management systems, Microsoft 365 applications, student success platforms, and emerging digital tools Excellent organizational and communication skills Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry professionals)
