Since 1999, BEST has supported children and families through consulting, direct services, and active parent involvement in the treatment process. The team brings extensive knowledge in autism assessment, autism therapy, and developmental disorders to deliver high-quality care. Supervisors and direct service providers collaborate closely to ensure children receive effective, individualized ABA treatment plans. BEST is dedicated to evidence-based practices and a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Typical tasks include managing calendars, scheduling appointments, organizing virtual meetings, and maintaining digital records and documentation. The role involves answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and supporting communication between supervisors, service providers, and families. The Administrative Assistant will also handle clerical duties such as data entry, preparing reports, updating databases, and assisting with basic billing or paperwork as needed. This position requires consistent, professional communication and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently in a remote setting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills, including calendar management, scheduling, and coordination of virtual meetings.
- Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for interacting with families, staff, and external partners in a clear and respectful manner.
- Candidates should possess solid Clerical Skills, including data entry, document preparation, record maintenance, and basic office software proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency with common digital tools (e.g., email platforms, cloud-based file storage, spreadsheets, word processing software); experience with healthcare or education settings is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset; prior administrative experience is preferred.
