In this role, you'll provide confidential administrative support to the Director, coordinate complex priorities, and serve as a key resource for internal and external partners.
Beyond meaningful work, this position offers the opportunity to join a supportive and engaged team while enjoying a structured weekday schedule. The role is based at Central City Tower in Surrey and operates Monday through Friday, helping to support a healthy work-life balance.
You'll also enjoy scheduling flexibility, with start times between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and corresponding end times between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., allowing you to choose a schedule that best supports your workday.
To support onboarding and integration into the team, the successful candidate will work on-site full-time for the first six months. Following this period, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered based on operational requirements and successful completion of the onboarding period, typically consisting of three days per week on-site and up to two days working remotely.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized Administrative Assistant or Secretarial program
- Three (3) years of recent related experience in a large, complex organization, preferably in healthcare
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered

Working in support of creating remarkable patient experiences, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Directors within Professional Practice and LSI. Performs duties such as drafting and typing a variety of documents, maintaining calendars and preparing for meetings and events, generating a variety of reports and materials, assisting with the implementation and evaluation of training programs, assisting with staff onboarding, maintaining core documents and website, and developing and implementing new work methods and procedures.

Education and ExperienceGrade 12 plus graduation from a recognized administrative or secretarial program, plus three (3) years of recent, related experience in a health care environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Competencies
