Job Summary

The Cross Connections Administrator is responsible for planning, scheduling & prioritizing daily work, which includes managing notifications related to Cross Connection's functions. In addition, this position is responsible for invoicing customers for services performed by the Cross Connection's field team. This position requires a strong understanding of fundamental planning concepts, strong analytical, computer and customer service skills, as well as the ability to analyze data.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule & evaluate the quantity and quality of work needed to accomplish work group goals within set limits of time and costs.
  • Determine staffing, equipment and materials required to complete state mandated work in the most efficient manner.
  • Review & manage the customer violation letter process.
  • Identify ways to streamline Cross Connection's related processes to maximize the productivity & efficiency of field staff.
  • Coordinate work with internal resources as well as contractors.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Evaluate and understand applicable codes, ordinances and regulations related to water utilities.
  • Support Customer Service with Cross Connection inquiries.
  • Oversee contractor training and test report submission through our portal
  • Invoice for Cross Connection testing
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in planning, operations management and understanding of the Company's business processes related to water service and utility operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to work through conflict to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Must also be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the organization's goals and objectives is required.
  • The candidate should be a self-starter who can work independently, as well as with groups.

Education/Certifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.

Salary

  • This role is a full-time, benefit-eligible role.
  • This role is classified as a non-exempt hourly role, with a hourly rate of $25.00 to $27.50.
  • This role reports out of the Bridgeport, CT office.
  • Hours for this role are 7:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.
  • After 3 months of successful employment, this role will be eligible for a hybrid schedule (3 days office/2 days remote). However, based on business needs, such as training, testing, or project work, the employee may be required to work on-site for specific periods. Any such adjustments will be communicated in advance.
