Advanced CAD Specialist

As an Advanced CAD Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing complex CAD design projects, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of design tasks. You will develop and implement CAD standards and best practices to optimize design efficiency and quality. The Advanced CAD Specialist provides technical expertise and guidance to CAD engineers, assisting with complex design challenges and problem-solving. You will review and approve CAD drawings and designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in CAD design processes is also a key responsibility. In this role, you will impact by providing technical leadership, driving innovation and design optimization, improving process efficiency, fostering collaboration, ensuring quality assurance, and promoting knowledge sharing. Utilize CAD software to develop accurate and efficient designs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in CAD design processes Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards Review and approve CAD drawings and designs Provide technical support and guidance to CAD engineers YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in CAD design and engineering Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and industry best practices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
