Advanced Public Health Practitioner | 10952 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £43,822 to £48,227 per annum | Grade K | Norwich/Countywide Norfolk County Council’s Public Health Commissioning Team is seeking an experienced Advanced Public Health Commissioner to lead the strategic development, commissioning and performance management of NHS Health Checks across Norfolk. This role is central to delivering evidence-based prevention programmes that improve population health outcomes and reduce health inequalities. In this role, you will oversee the full commissioning cycle, ensuring services are high quality, accessible and deliver value for money. You will use data to improve quality, value, and reduce inequalities, while working with partners to deliver integrated services. Working collaboratively across the system, you will engage with NHS partners, primary care, providers and community organisations to design and implement integrated service models. You will use data, insight, and evaluation to drive continuous improvement, manage contracts and budgets, and provide strategic advice to support wider public health priorities. We are looking for a skilled public health professional with experience in commissioning or service delivery, strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills and a clear commitment to improving health outcomes and tackling inequalities.
