Advanced Test Engr

The Advanced Test Engineer within the SIL FCS Group is responsible for the development and implementation of Facility Control Systems (FCS) for new test solutions, leveraging expertise in software development and system modeling. This role involves analyzing test requirements and designing control strategies to achieve the pneumatic and hydraulic test conditions required by the Unit Under Test (UUT). Additionally, the engineer develops and integrates software-based test solutions to verify the functionality and performance of various product configurations and part numbers. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to coordinate the design, development, validation, and deployment of test solutions in accordance with the Aerospace Engineering Process.

• Proficiency in NI LabVIEW for Software development.
• Proficiency in MATLAB Simulink for modeling and simulation of control systems.
• Applied data analysis techniques to interpret test results.
• Ability to create evidence and documentation for Design Reviews to support the Test Solutions design process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; responsible for the Controls & Modeling test engineering process and presenting status to stakeholders regularly.
• Ability to track and document lessons learned, best practices, test problems, and opportunities for cost and cycle time reduction in the controls design process.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication in both Spanish and English, with effective communication across management, test leads, and Hon MRTC support groups.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 4+ years of experience in Test Engineering roles or Controls Development

• B.S. degree in Electronics, Cybernetics, Controls, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
