Role As an AEC AI Engineer, you will design and build AI-powered systems that directly support real-world AEC workflows. This role focuses on applying modern machine learning techniques, particularly LLMs and agent-based systems, to production environments. You will work closely with engineering, product, and domain experts to develop scalable AI solutions, integrating them into existing systems and ensuring they deliver measurable value. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on building, deploying, and iterating, rather than pure research. Responsibilities Design, train, and fine-tune AI models, including LLM-based systems, for real-world applications Optimize AI models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI systems into production environments Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to support deployment, monitoring, and scaling Drive applied research in areas such as fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and model efficiency Communicate AI capabilities and trade-offs to product and technical stakeholders Collaborate with product and domain experts to translate AEC requirements into technical solutions Must-Have Qualifications Experience in the AEC industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or related domains Hands-on experience with LLMs and/or agent-based systems Experience developing and deploying AI models into production systems Solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science Proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI frameworks Experience optimizing models for inference speed, reliability, and cost Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with large language models and RAG-based systems Exposure to multi-modal or generative AI systems Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, etc.) Familiarity with MLOps, cloud-based deployment, and monitoring Experience contributing to long-term research or client-facing AI projects What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Opportunity to work on production-grade AI systems at scale Exposure to cutting-edge AI research with real-world impact Collaborative, highly technical work environment Strong focus on learning, growth, and innovation
