Job Title: Affiliate Operations Specialist
Role Overview
The Affiliate Operations Specialist is a dedicated, full-time support resource embedded within the affiliate operations function. This role is focused on structured execution rather than autonomous management. Strategy, task priorities, and campaign direction are set by internal leadership, including the Affiliate Lead and E-commerce Director. The specialist executes against those instructions with discipline, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
The role spans three core workstreams:
- Affiliate Recruitment
- Affiliate Management
- General Network Support
Note: This role is focused strictly on affiliate operations and does not involve general customer service tasks.
Scope of Work
A. Affiliate Recruitment
- Implement recruitment campaigns, strategies, and weekly task schedules as defined by team leadership.
- Conduct lead generation for assigned brands, target regions (GEOs), and recruitment channels—including search engines, social media, and other approved sources.
- Import and maintain leads within the recruitment database in accordance with defined standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all lead activity, responses, and follow-ups are accurately tracked at all times.
- Execute email outreach using approved recruitment templates via designated ticketing or email systems.
- Monitor replies, manage follow-ups within agreed timelines, and escalate priority interactions where required.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of affiliates within agreed parameters and service standards.
- Perform standard affiliate support responsibilities including regular communication, relationship management, and compliance monitoring.
- Handle inbound queries via live chat and email from website portals and central network inboxes.
- Conduct brand monitoring to identify unauthorized copycat activity.
- Monitor paid ads and brand bidding activity to identify affiliates breaching promotion policies.
- Carry out other network-wide support tasks as reasonably assigned by team leadership.
- Pipeline Management: Lead pipeline is consistently populated with qualified, accurately tracked prospects that match the brief for assigned regions and brands.
- Outreach Execution: Outreach emails are sent on time, using approved templates, with responses handled and escalated within agreed timelines.
- Portfolio Health: The affiliate portfolio is maintained with clean records, active relationships, and no compliance breaches falling through undetected.
- Support Efficiency: Inbound queries are resolved promptly and professionally; brand monitoring flags are escalated before becoming commercial issues.
- Reliability: Internal leadership can trust that all tasks are being executed accurately without needing to chase for updates.
Essential Qualifications
- 1–3 years in affiliate marketing, affiliate support, or a closely related digital marketing operations role.
- Hands-on experience with standard affiliate platforms (e.g., Everflow, Impact, CJ, ShareASale, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to follow structured processes and execute tasks accurately within a defined brief.
- Strong, fast, distraction-free execution—able to work through outreach and task lists efficiently and see them through to completion.
- Ability to manage your own workload autonomously once briefed, without needing constant day-to-day direction.
- Comfortable pivoting across multiple brands and offers, with strong time management and consistent pacing across the working week.
- Strong written English for professional outreach and query handling.
- Comfortable with volume lead generation, database management, and email outreach.
- Exceptional detail orientation—data entry and tracking accuracy are critical for this role.
- Open to regular feedback and constructive criticism as part of ongoing performance check-ins.
- Adaptability—comfortable with a role and strategy that will continue to evolve alongside program growth.
- Experience specifically within an affiliate network or agency setting.
- Familiarity with SEO affiliate models and how SEO publishers are recruited and managed.
- Knowledge of brand protection monitoring—specifically paid search bidding violations and copycat activity.
- Background in health, wellness, nutrition, or direct-to-consumer (DTC) verticals.
- Direct experience with the Everflow platform.
- Account management or publisher relationship experience.
- Personal experience as an affiliate marketer or content publisher.
- Cross-cultural communication skills—comfortable adapting tone across a geographically diverse affiliate base.
- Comfort working within a multi-brand portfolio where target regions and campaign parameters vary by brand.
