The opportunity

Join a growing team where you'll combine commercial underwriting expertise with agent onboarding, coaching and operational support. You'll help new Elders Insurance Agents establish successful businesses while contributing to underwriting outcomes and continuous improvement across the network.

Your new role

You’ll support the growth of the Elders Insurance Agency Network through multi-line underwriting, agent development and operational improvement.

  • Underwrite new business, renewals and endorsements within delegated authority.
  • Support and coach new Elders Insurance Agents through onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Provide guidance on underwriting referrals, policy coverage and operational processes.
  • Build strong relationships with agents, customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting and workflow tracking.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational projects.
  • Support positive underwriting, customer and agency growth outcomes.

About you

You’re a proactive insurance professional who brings sound underwriting capability, initiative and a practical approach to supporting others.

  • Experience in general insurance, underwriting, broking or agency operations.
  • Commercial underwriting experience, ideally across Business Package and/or Farm products.
  • Sound insurance knowledge and the ability to assess risk within delegated authority.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Initiative, resilience and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting agents, brokers or team members.
  • Exposure to process improvement, projects or operational change is highly regarded.
