Agentic AI software engineers

Role Description As an Agentic AI Software Engineer at Boulevard Tech, you will design, build, and maintain AI-driven software solutions that support regulatory analysis and related workflows. On a day-to-day basis, you will develop and implement machine learning models, integrate agentic AI systems with internal tools, and optimize data pipelines to handle legal and economic information efficiently. You will collaborate with legal, economic and policy professionals to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver robust, secure applications. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, where regular on-site collaboration is combined with flexibility for some work from home. You will also be expected to document your work clearly, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of the firm’s AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science with practical experience in Software Development for production-grade systems.
• Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including designing, training, and evaluating models.
• Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially in working with legal, technical, or domain-specific texts.
• Experience with agentic or autonomous AI systems, including orchestration frameworks, APIs, and integration with existing tools.
• Comfort with modern programming languages and frameworks commonly used in AI (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and standard software engineering practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, explain complex concepts clearly, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with law, economics, policy or legal-tech environments is an advantage but not required.
