Agentic Quality Engineer

Agentic Quality Engineer | Delft, Netherlands, Hybrid | €5,250–€6,500/month | Permanent role

We’re working with an established international software organisation that is investing heavily in the next generation of quality engineering and agentic AI.

They’re looking for a Senior Agentic Quality Engineer to join as an individual contributor, helping evolve quality engineering beyond traditional test automation towards intelligent, agent-driven testing.

This isn’t a traditional manual QA or test-script maintenance role. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to build robust automated testing capabilities, introduce agentic approaches to quality, and tackle complex integration, contract and non-functional testing challenges.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and owning automated test suites across APIs, services and interfaces
• Building integration, contract and non-functional testing capabilities
• Using Claude Code for test generation, failure investigation and multi-file changes
• Building agentic testing workflows, evals and automated quality checks within CI
• Investigating complex failures and improving test reliability
• Helping engineering teams adopt AI-assisted and agentic quality practices responsibly
• Contributing to quality standards, CI quality gates and testing strategy

We’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in Test Engineering / Quality Engineering
• Strong Agentic AI experience
• Strong automated, API and integration testing experience
• Hands-on commercial experience with Claude Code
• Strong CI/CD knowledge, including building or maintaining quality gates
• Experience testing databases, data integrity and API contracts
• Ability to write clear acceptance criteria and work autonomously

Experience with contract testing, SQL, security-aware testing, search testing or supporting the adoption of AI engineering tools would be beneficial.

Technical environment: Python, TypeScript, Vue, PostgreSQL, Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform.
