๐ Join our team as an Agentic Software Engineer โ Data & AI Platforms!
At Acsys, we are looking for Agentic Software Engineers based in Argentina to join a global project with a leading multinational company ๐. This role is ideal for engineers who are genuinely excited about working agent-first: directing AI coding agents, reviewing their output critically, and owning the result in production. We are hiring at several levels, from associate to senior.
This is not a prompt-writing position, nor a traditional feature-factory role: you will spend more time specifying precisely, reviewing rigorously, and testing than writing code by hand.
๐ ๏ธ What are we looking for?
- Agentic Engineering: Practical experience directing AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot or Factory.ai to produce production code, and reviewing their output for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Clear Specifications: Ability to write precise, testable specifications that both agents and engineers can build from without guessing.
- Software & Data Engineering: Strong coding skills in Python, Java, C#, Scala, or TypeScript, plus confident SQL, with code you have shipped and supported in production.
- Data Pipelines: Experience with Spark, PySpark, dbt, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks workflows, and a sound grasp of data modeling and API design.
- Backend Services: Experience building and operating server-side services and REST APIs at enterprise scale. Production-level Java and Spring Boot are required for backend positions.
- Microsoft Azure: Working experience building and running services on Azure, including storage, identity and access management, secrets handling, and basic networking.
- GitHub & CI/CD: Strong experience with GitHub Actions, pull request workflows, branching strategies, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Ownership & Flow: Comfortable owning your slice end to end in small pods, working in small increments under a Kanban model, and supporting what you ship in production.
โญ Nice to Have
- Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or MongoDB Atlas alongside Databricks
- Streaming and event-driven data with Kafka or Azure Event Hubs
- LLM or RAG applications, including retrieval quality evaluation
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Bicep
- Experience in global, distributed engineering teams
๐ Benefits
- 100% remote work
- Competitive salary in USD
- Connectivity allowance
- English classes
- Discounted Medicus health plan
- Birthday day off
- 15 days of vacation
- Meal card
- Discounts at universities (UCES and UTN) and Udemy (client)
- Training opportunities and more!
If you're passionate about AI-assisted engineering, data platforms, and backend services, and would like to be part of a collaborative team working on global-scale environments, we'd love to receive your CV in English! ๐
