Move Security Forward with AcreAre you passionate about transforming the future of security? Do you thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment where your contributions drive real impact? If so, Acre Security is the place for you. Join us in making the world a safer place — one innovation at a time.
About Acre
At Acre, we're not just building security solutions — we’re empowering security professionals to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. Since our inception in 2012, Acre has been at the forefront of innovation in access control, visitor management, and intrusion software. Our solutions are trusted by organizations in over 25 countries, delivering smarter, more adaptable, and easier-to-use security technologies that protect what matters most.
Your Impact
We're looking for an Agile Project Manager to join our Project Management team. You will own end-to-end delivery of our visitor management, access control, and intrusion products, from requirements through release. You'll coordinate across R&D, engineering, product management, supply chain, compliance, and third-party partners. You'll lead Agile practices, keep stakeholders aligned, anticipate and reduce risk, and make sure releases ship on time and to a high standard.
What You’ll Do
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:
Delivery & Scheduling
- Manage end-to-end delivery, testing, and release of access management & intrusion products, working with R&D, engineering, product management, supply chain, compliance, third-party partners, support, and marketing.
- Estimate, plan, and schedule project timelines, including milestones, sprint cadences, and resource allocation across several teams.
- Build and maintain Jira project sprints that cover software, firmware, and hardware dependencies, manufacturing lead times, and certification windows.
- Track capacity and velocity to make realistic commitments, and adjust plans as priorities change.
- Organize and facilitate project kick-offs, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to set priorities and keep backlogs aligned with business goals.
- Guide and motivate Agile teams to deliver value, and build a culture of transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Hold teams accountable for their deliverables and commitments. Act as an escalation point, help remove obstacles, and facilitate decisions as needed.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Agile and project management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Identify, assess, and track project risks, dependencies, and issues early in the lifecycle.
- Build and maintain risk registers with clear owners, mitigation plans, and contingency strategies.
- Monitor risk triggers before they affect scope, schedule, cost, or quality, such as supply chain constraints, component shortages, third-party delays, and certification or compliance hurdles.
- Escalate issues and blockers promptly, with clear impact analysis and recommended options.
- Plan and coordinate project releases across engineering, QA, and Product.
- Define and reinforce release readiness criteria, including test completion, defect thresholds, documentation, regulatory sign-off, and go/no-go reviews.
- Give stakeholders clear visibility of project schedules, status, resources, risks, and costs from team members up to executive leadership.
- Produce regular reporting, including monthly status updates, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Manage communication and expectations with third-party partners, vendors, and contract manufacturers.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive timely, well-documented decisions.
- Build strong working relationships across onsite and remote teams and across timezones.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Degree or relevant qualification in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in Agile project management. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred; PMP, SAFe, or PMI-ACP is an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of products across multiple teams.
- Strong experience delivering complex software or firmware products. Hardware delivery experience is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Agile and project management principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, release management, and building integrated project schedules.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, conflict resolution, and communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Hands-on experience managing Epics, Stories, and issues in Jira. Familiarity with Confluence and reporting dashboards is a plus.
- Knowledge of electronics, manufacturing processes, or supply chain is an advantage.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams and external partners.
- Determined, self-motivated, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
We strive to do more than just match your ambitions — when you join Acre, you’ll have access to a range of exciting opportunities:
- Be part of a disruptor – Help move security forward with a company that challenges the status quo and redefines industry standards.
- Learn from industry leaders – Work alongside experts and innovators driving real change in security technology.
- Drive meaningful impact – Your work will directly contribute to pioneering security technologies that protect businesses and communities worldwide.
