AI and Process Engineer We are recruiting an AI and Process Engineer with a strong analytical mindset and a genuine interest in applied AI for our client , an international group with 30 years of presence in Romania, whose polymer-based solutions shape everyday life. You’ll join their growing IT team in Bucharest and help turn AI potential into real, well-designed business processes. This role sits at the intersection of process management and artificial intelligence . You’ll help the organization systematically analyze, design, and optimize its business processes, identifying where and how AI technologies can be meaningfully integrated into existing or new processes. Combining solid process expertise with a sound understanding of data flows and a practical perspective on AI applications, you will act as the bridge between business units, IT, and data teams. Main Responsibilities Process Design and Documentation Capture, analyze, and model business processes, for example , using BPMN 2.0 Create and maintain process documentation, process maps, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Identify optimization potential in existing workflows Support the introduction and further development of a company-wide process framework AI Use-Case Identification and Implementation Analyze processes for AI application potential, for example, automation, classification, prediction, and generative AI Evaluate and prioritize AI use cases based on feasibility and business value Accompany the implementation of AI solutions in close collaboration with IT, data, and business teams Ensure that AI solutions are embedded in a process-compliant and sustainable manner Data Flows and Data Understanding Document and analyze data flows along the process chain Identify data sources, data gaps, and data quality issues as a foundation for AI initiatives Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure a reliable data foundation Change Management and Training Actively support change processes during the introduction of new processes or AI-assisted workflows Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for business units Promote a process- and data-oriented mindset across the organization Requirements 3–6 years of professional experience in process management, business analysis, or a comparable field Proven experience in process analysis and modeling, for example using BPMN, EPC, or comparable methods Knowledge of documenting data flows and system landscapes Basic understanding of AI concepts and technologies such as machine learning, NLP, and generative AI; deep programming skills are not required, but technical understanding is expected Strong analytical and structured thinking Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics in an understandable way Self-driven approach and the ability to independently advance topics High willingness to learn in a fast-evolving technological environment Team-oriented mindset and genuine enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration English: business proficient / negotiation level Nice to Have Experience with process management tools such as Signavio, Celonis, Visio, or ARIS Good working knowledge of German Department IT&C | Project & Product Management Role AI and Process Engineer Locations Bucharest Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time About Evolve Today This text can be a short description about your company.
