AI & Automation Specialist

Job Title: AI Automation Specialist Location: Remote – Colombia Type of Contract: Full-Time | Remote Salary Range: $1,900 - $2,200 USD/month (Based on Experience) Language Requirements: Advanced English (Written and Spoken) We are seeking a skilled AI Automation Specialist with deep expertise in workflow automation and business process optimization to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across multiple departments. Your work will directly impact productivity, scalability, and the organization's ability to streamline critical business processes. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automation workflows primarily using N8N to improve internal operations and team efficiency. Identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes and develop automation solutions to eliminate bottlenecks. Integrate business systems, including CRMs, communication platforms, databases, and third-party applications through APIs and webhooks. Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize existing workflows to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. Collaborate directly with the CEO and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Document automation workflows, processes, and system logic to ensure transparency and maintainability. Proactively recommend process improvements and automation opportunities that drive measurable business outcomes. Must-Have Qualifications Strong hands-on experience building and managing workflows in N8N. Proven track record of automating business processes across operations, sales, recruiting, marketing, or related functions. Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to work independently. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with technical and non-technical teams. Availability to work with significant overlap during U.S. EST/CST business hours. Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Make (formerly Integromat) and/or Zapier. Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and automation architecture best practices. Basic scripting experience using JavaScript and/or Python. Experience working with CRM platforms, recruiting software, or operational systems. Background in process improvement, systems design, or operational excellence. Previous experience in a startup, high-growth company, or fast-paced remote environment. Compensation & Reporting Structure $1,900 - $2,200 USD/month (Based on Experience) Full-time remote position. Reports directly to the CEO and leadership team.
