AI Engineer

‍ What You'll Do Build and deploy AI agents across chat, voice, email, and workflow automation channels Design reasoning, memory, and retrieval systems that combine structured CRM data with unstructured business signals Connect AI models and LLM APIs to existing databases, frontend interfaces, and backend infrastructures Evaluate, monitor, and improve agent performance using real customer data Work directly with customers to configure, test, and deploy AI solutions Collaborate with Go To Market Strategist, R&D, Product, and Sales teams to define and build AI-powered GTM workflows Requirements Strong experience with AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor, Lovable, and Claude Code. Familiarity with APIs, SaaS integrations, and data pipelines Understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and agent orchestration Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience Passion for building production-grade AI systems Nice to Have Familiarity with CRM or revenue operations data Knowledge of MCP, agent evaluation, observability, and cloud platforms Understanding of Go-To-Market (GTM) processes and how businesses acquire, retain, and grow customers Preferred -Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field Ideal Personality Traits Builder mindset with a desire to solve real business problems Strong ownership mentality and accountability for outcomes Systems thinker who enjoys connecting data, workflows, and automation Excellent communicator able translating complex technical concepts into business value Passionate about building products that create measurable impact Naturally curious about AI, emerging technologies, and agent architectures Why Alta Build AI agents used by real GTM teams every day Work on cutting-edge agent architectures and reasoning systems Own impactful projects from idea to production Join a fast-moving, AI-first team shaping the future of revenue operations The annual base salary range for this role is $65,000–$100,000 USD.
