AI Engineer AI Engineer (Expert) for a Nordic-style bank in Warsaw/Gdańsk/Łódź. Design, build and scale end-to-end AI solutions, mentor teams, and champion ethical, compliant AI. AI Engineer (Expert) Salary: up to 170 PLN/h net (B2B) Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Łódź (Hybrid: 1 day/week in the office) Language: English (Fluent) About the client: Our client is a well-established, international institution in the banking industry. About the role: As an AI Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the design, architecture, and scaling of innovative AI solutions. Working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for taking complex use cases from initial concept all the way to a robust production environment. What you will do: Develop and scale AI applications end-to-end (from idea and PoC, straight through to production). Build Agentic and Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, MCP, and A2A. Integrate AI models with vector databases, APIs, and complex enterprise systems. Deploy, test, and monitor AI solutions across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Champion ethical AI practices, ensure proper documentation, compliance, and manage risks. Mentor team members and promote Artificial Intelligence best practices within the organization. What we expect (Must-haves): 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI solutions in production. Strong programming skills in Python and a deep understanding of scalable system development. Practical experience with Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, MCP) and Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen). Strong AI/ML system design skills, including model selection, deployment, and monitoring. Proven cloud expertise ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ). Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Excellent communication skills in English , with a track record of bridging the gap between tech and business. Nice to have: Familiarity with A2A protocols, multi-agent systems, and agent testing/reliability. Understanding of AI safety, alignment, ethics, and EU AI regulations. Previous experience delivering tech solutions in regulated industries (e.g., banking, finance).
