The Role

As an AI Engineer, you will work directly with the early team to architect and build the core engine of XHawk.

What you’ll do:

• Run Models on bare-metal: Fine-tune and run models at scale.
• Scale the Compute and Inference Layer: Build distributed systems to run millions of long-horizon agentic jobs every day and serving tokens to the AI jobs efficiently

Who You Are

• Polyglot & Versatile: You are comfortable moving between languages (Python, Go, Rust, and Typescript) and cloud stacks. You pick the right tool for the job.
• Familiarity with ML-Ops
• AI-Native Builder: You have hands-on experience building with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenCode, Hermes, Gemini, etc)
• Systems Thinker: You understand how to build "headless" platforms and A2A systems.
• Massive Scale: You understand what it takes to build systems that can run across 100's of nodes and handle millions of API calls and jobs every day
• High Ownership: You thrive in an early-stage, zero-to-one environment. You don't wait for a ticket; you see a problem and solve it.

Bonus Points

• You are comfortable working on 10s of tasks in parallel
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure like VMs, containers and sandboxes
• Previous experience in a fast pace startup preferred
• You are comfortable building systems that can span clouds and geographies
