Location: Hybrid (2-3 days Dallas, TX)
As a consultant within the DE team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value.
Job Description:
Experience Range: With at least 7 to 8 years of experience in architecture design and application development, including proven leadership in end-to-end solution design initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architect and implement scalable application solutions that meet business objectives and technology strategies. 2. Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and guidelines to drive consistency across projects. 3. Develop and maintain detailed architecture diagrams and documentation, effectively communicating design rationale to stakeholders.
4. Lead the design and optimization of data storage solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
5. Formulate and execute migration strategies for transitioning legacy systems to modern architectures with minimal business impact.
6. Design and implement robust security models, including role-based access controls, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
7. Assess, select, and recommend technology stacks and frameworks, providing clear justification for decisions.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and deliver cohesive architectural solutions.
Required Skills:
1. Advanced proficiency in application design and enterprise solution architecture
2. In-depth knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
3. Expertise in creating technical documentation and architecture diagrams
4. Strong skills in data modeling and storage design for distributed systems
5. Experience in planning and executing system migrations
6. Design and implementation of role-based security models
7. Microservices architecture and RESTful API design
8. Technology evaluation and selection for large-scale projects
9. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
10. Integration pattern implementation for enterprise systems
Preferred Skills:
1. Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
2. Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices
3. Knowledge of event-driven architecture and enterprise messaging systems
4. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
5. Expertise in performance tuning and system scalability
6. Understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance frameworks
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field 2. Certification in TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert relevant to enterprise architecture roles
