KPN is seeking an **AI Engineer** to design, build, and maintain **agentic AI solutions** supporting the transition toward autonomous networks. Within the Agentic AI & Data department, you will develop intelligent agents that can observe, decide, and act to optimize network performance and decision-making in real time.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, network domain experts, data engineers, and software teams to develop scalable, reliable AI solutions and integrate autonomous capabilities into operational processes. The role combines **software engineering, AI/ML, production systems, cloud-native architectures, and network automation** in a young, international team focused on real-world autonomous AI solutions.
## Key Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain **agentic AI systems** for autonomous network optimization and decision-making.
- Contribute to solutions such as the **Broadband Disruption Agent (DBA)**.
- Design system architectures and validate software quality.
- Monitor and assess runtime behavior with a strong focus on production ownership.
- Build and maintain scalable **AI/ML pipelines** with emphasis on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Define and implement monitoring, testing, and governance strategies for production agentic AI solutions.
- Ensure AI solutions are robust and compliant in production environments.

## Required Qualifications
