As part of that next stage of growth, the company is looking to continue maturing its operations and technology organization, with the ambition of being IPO-ready as early as next year.

As part of this growth, we are currently searching for an AI Engineering Manager. The internal AI team is currently around 4–5 people, supported by close to 10 contractors, and this person will play an important role in managing, structuring and growing the team as AI becomes increasingly important across the organization. The mandate will combine people leadership, technical direction and team building, with the opportunity to help shape how the company develops and scales its AI engineering capabilities.

Summary: Leads the AI squad's people, roadmap, and technical standards - translating business priorities into a coherent AI strategy across the AI Rater, conversational AI, and internal productivity tooling - while staying hands-on.

Core Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical lead or engineering management role
• Proven track record leading a team that shipped AI/LLM-powered products end-to-end
• Technical depth to review architecture, set engineering standards (prompting, evaluation, guardrails), and unblock the team hands-on
• Experience owning a technical roadmap and translating business goals (automated rating, lead qualification, agent copilots) into engineering plans
• People leadership: hiring, mentoring, and performance management across AI Engineers and Senior AI Engineers
• Cross-functional partnership with Product, Compliance/Legal, and Sales - especially on AI governance in a regulated industry
• Experience with vendor/model strategy: evaluating LLM providers, cost/performance tradeoffs, build-vs-buy calls
• Strong grasp of LLMOps and the infrastructure needed to scale AI features reliably across a SaaS platform
• Skilled at communicating AI strategy, risk, and results to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
• Stays hands-on with AI-assisted engineering tools and retains technical credibility with the team
