This platform is designed to transform daily shopping into a more rewarding and cost-effective experience. Launched as the sister app to the No. 1 recipe video platform, it has rapidly surpassed 10 million downloads, driven by rising consumer inflation and a growing societal focus on saving money. The service features a mechanism where users earn points through everyday shopping behaviors, such as browsing digital store flyers or physically commuting to retail locations.

■The Target Product & Mission

You will be involved with our core product, Japan's No. 1 recipe video platform, which boasts over 40 million monthly active users.

Through years of operating this platform, the company has worked closely with numerous food manufacturers and wholesalers, gaining deep insights into their operational bottlenecks. One of the most critical challenges facing this sector is its heavy reliance on legacy, analog workflows—specifically, the widespread use of paper and fax machines, which leads to massive inefficiencies across the board.

To tackle this problem, the company has launched an exclusive, high-priority new project operating directly under the CEO. This initiative leverages our extensive industry knowledge and partner network to completely automate the massive operational inefficiencies within the food distribution supply chain (manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers) using custom-built AI Agents.

By deploying sophisticated systems driven by AI-OCR, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Durable Workflow Engines, this project aims to systematically eliminate manual, paper-and-fax workflows. The ultimate goal is to achieve total process automation, delivering a profound and sweeping societal impact across a massive legacy industry.

■Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack Engineering Generalist on this new venture, you will own the end-to-end design and implementation of our workflow automation AI Agents tailored for food manufacturers and wholesalers. Your scope of work will be broad and highly technical, spanning frontend interfaces, backend systems, and specialized AI infrastructure.

・Evaluate and select optimal AI-OCR models, executing fine-tuning strategies to maximize data extraction accuracy from legacy paper and fax documents.

・Design, implement, and maintain robust guardrail frameworks to guarantee the precision, safety, and operational reliability of LLM responses.

・Build fault-tolerant, highly reliable business workflows utilizing advanced Durable Workflow Engines.

・Design and develop custom agent harnesses engineered with autonomous self-improvement loops to continuously elevate system performance.

・Conduct deep-dive operational discovery with pilot enterprise clients, translating real-world, legacy workflow constraints into elegant, highly practical software solutions.

Required

Experience developing web applications using TypeScript (5+ years)

Experience designing and implementing backends using REST APIs and relational databases (RDB)

Experience developing applications that utilize large language models (LLMs), such as the OpenAI API and Claude API

Practical experience with AI-driven development using tools like Claude Code and Codex (whether personal or professional)

Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese in a professional setting

Preferred

Experience developing web applications using full-stack TypeScript

Experience handling unstructured data, such as AI-OCR and image processing

Experience designing and operating workflow engines

Experience building and operating infrastructure on AWS (including Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform)

Experience developing industry-specific business systems for sectors such as retail, logistics, and manufacturing
