Your mission

This is an internal role at Pexon Romania, working within our core marketing team. You will make sure Pexon and our group companies get found - both through traditional search engines (Google) and next-generation AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews).

Your main focus will be pexon-consulting.de, while also scaling the SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) playbook across our other group companies. You bridge technical AI engineering, content generation, and search engine visibility.

Your profile

• Technical SEO & GEO: Hands-on experience with technical SEO (indexing, internal linking) and Generative Engine Optimization. You turn data from SEO APIs such as DataForSEO into clear priorities.
• AI automation: You build AI workflows with Claude, OpenAI or similar LLMs, including agent loops, graph-based workflows and scheduled runs. You're comfortable with Python, APIs and automated data pipelines.
• Data & tracking: Working knowledge of PostgreSQL/Supabase. You can set up and debug GA4, GTM, Search Console and consent management, so traffic is tied to real business inquiries.
• Technical content: You understand cloud topics like Kubernetes, Azure and DevOps well enough to create credible content that addresses real customer pain points.
• Commercial mindset: You're curious about why a CTO or VP of Engineering searches for a solution, not just which keywords they type. You measure success in qualified leads and conversations, not rankings.
• Language: Fluent in English (German language skills are a strong plus).

• Nice to have: Experience with WordPress, Background in B2B or IT consulting

Location

This role is remote-first. You can work from home anywhere in Romania or make use of our Tech Hub in Cluj-Napoca. Our German offices in Berlin, Munich, and Grünwald are also available for occasional visits.
