AI Operations Assistant

We often step in when a company has invested heavily in complex tools only to find that the implementation was rushed, the data is messy, and the finance team is still relying on manual workarounds. We prioritize configuration, documentation, and creating a single source of truth that actually works. Our consultants are senior professionals who prefer direct results over corporate jargon.
We are currently supporting a Berlin-based technology company as they refine their internal reporting and integrate new automated analysis tools into their finance systems. This project requires a steady hand to manage the operational details that keep these systems running reliably. We are looking for an AI Operations Assistant to support our senior consulting team in this engagement. This is a permanent, full-time position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive as part of our distributed team.

About the role
In this role, you will help bridge the gap between complex data inputs and the automated systems our client uses for forecasting and analysis. The AI Operations Assistant ensures that the data being fed into these systems is clean and that the outputs are consistent with the documentation we provide to the client. You will not be building models from scratch, but you will be essential in maintaining the integrity of the data pipeline. Because we believe in leaving a client better than we found them, a significant portion of your time will be spent on handover materials and configuration guides that ensure the client can remain independent once our work is done.

What you will do

• Monitor data inputs for the client's automated reporting systems to identify and flag inconsistencies before they reach the final dashboard.
• Update and maintain detailed documentation regarding system configurations and operational workflows for the Berlin-based technology firm.
• Assist senior consultants in preparing data sets for testing new reporting features, ensuring that all information is accurate and follows the single source of truth principle.
• Participate in internal reviews to verify that the automated outputs match the financial reality of the client's business.
• Organize and categorize project files to ensure that all team members can find the latest configuration guides and project logs.
• Communicate clearly with both the internal consulting team and client representatives regarding the status of data cleanup tasks.
• Support the drafting of training materials that help client staff understand how to interact with their new AI-assisted tools.

What we are looking for
This is an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who is organized and has a high degree of attention to detail. You do not need to be an expert in AI or a career consultant yet, but you should have a strong interest in how technology can improve business operations. We value people who are comfortable with structured tasks and who understand the importance of clean data in a professional setting.

• Basic familiarity with spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to explain technical steps in plain English for documentation purposes.
• A proactive approach to identifying small errors in data or text that others might overlook.
• The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying connected with the team through digital tools.
• Curiosity about enterprise software and how large companies manage their financial data.
• Reliability and a commitment to meeting project deadlines without the need for constant supervision.
• Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role is helpful but not required.
