Operating from a Sydney-based facility, we produce powder and liquid sachets in multiple formats, including stick packs, twin packs, and die-cut sachets, for both local and international brands. Role Description The AI Operations Strategist is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing AI-driven workflows across manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations. This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and data-driven decision-making, and implementing AI tools that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. The strategist will collaborate with operations, production, quality, and commercial teams to translate business needs into AI solutions, define key metrics, and monitor performance. Day-to-day tasks include building and managing data pipelines, maintaining AI models, documenting processes, and ensuring that AI systems comply with regulatory and QA requirements. The role also includes vendor and tool evaluation, training team members on AI best practices, and continuously refining strategies based on performance insights and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in data analysis, data modeling, and working with structured and unstructured datasets to support operational decisions.
- Experience with AI and automation tools (e.g., machine learning platforms, workflow automation, predictive analytics) and their application in operations or supply chain environments.
- Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement) and the ability to map, measure, and optimize workflows.
- Proficiency in relevant technical languages or tools (such as Python, SQL, or low-code/no-code automation platforms) for building and maintaining AI-driven processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or health and wellness industries is beneficial, particularly in GMP-compliant environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Engineering, Operations Management, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency or quality.
