**Job Summary/Purpose**
Madak is a Digital Impact Partner for Businesses. We solve Digital Fragmentation by transforming the website from a liability into a brand’s Source of Truth. By leading with a Center-First Strategy, we ensure your Website is an accurate, high-performance asset that aligns your strategy, Webflow development, and AI workflows to drive your total Digital Presence forward.
This role is a dedicated AI hire on the web team. It sits somewhere between an AI solutions engineer and a prompt engineer: you'll be building skills, automations, web apps, and AI-powered systems, and you'll be writing and refining the prompts, skills, and instructions that make them work. Just as importantly, you'll be the person who spots where AI belongs in the first place.
You will be handed problems, not specs. If that sounds good, keep reading.
**What you'll do:**
- Build and ship AI-powered automations that take repetitive, manual work off people's plates
- Design and build web apps, dashboards, and tools — from concept through deployment
- Build sales automations and AI-supported sales workflows: research, outreach drafting, pipeline hygiene, proposal and deck generation
- Build marketing automations: content pipelines, publishing workflows, and reporting
- Identify where AI can be applied or expanded across how we work and how our clients work — finding the opportunity is as much the job as building the solution
- Build agentic skills and routines that run on a schedule and produce finished, usable output
- Turn repeatable deliverables into generated artifacts — documents, decks, reports, and content
- Write, test, and iterate on the prompts and system instructions behind everything you build
- Integrate AI with the platforms the business already runs on: CMS, CRM, project management, email, and analytics
- Make the rest of the team dangerous with AI tooling — build the skills, prompts, and tools they use daily, then improve them based on what actually gets used
- Take client engagements from problem to shipped system, and stay with them after launch
**Who you are:**
- A generalist and a genuine self-starter. You can be handed something you've never touched, get to the ground floor of it, learn it fast, and go
- Comfortable building with AI rather than just around it. Vibe coding is a legitimate skill here — we care more that you can assemble working systems with good judgment than that you can write every line from scratch
- Someone who has shipped an AI system that other people depend on, and maintained it when it broke. We'll ask you what broke and what you did about it
- Fluent in modern LLM development: working with model APIs, retrieval, agentic tooling, prompt design and iteration, and knowing where models fail so you can design around it
- Comfortable with AI automation platforms as well as code. You know when a no-code tool is the correct answer and when it's a trap that costs more to maintain than a script would have
- Able to talk to non-technical people about their own work. Half this job is asking someone to walk you through what they actually do, step by step, and noticing the part they didn't think to mention
- Someone with judgment about what not to automate. Some things should stay manual, and some things need a human approving every output
- A fast, iterative shipper who is comfortable without a spec
**What this role isn’t:**
- Not a machine learning or research role — you won't be training or fine-tuning models
- Not a creative or design production role — we have a talented team for that
- Not a solo skunkworks. You'll be embedded with the people whose problems you're solving, and your work will be reviewed
- Not a role where someone hands you a fully specified ticket and a deadline
**What You Will Learn:**
- How a studio actually runs. You'll see the whole business rather than a narrow slice of it
- How to architect AI systems that hold up in production, with real users and real consequences when they don't
- Client-facing consulting: scoping work, setting expectations, and presenting your own builds
- Breadth across the stack — front end, back end, data, integrations, and the automation layer connecting them
- How to build a service line from the ground floor, with room to shape what it becomes
**What Success Looks Like:**
- Early on: you've learned where the team's hours actually go, and you've shipped something small end to end
- Within your first few months: you own at least one system outright and you're the primary builder on a client-facing AI deliverable
- By six months: the team routes requests directly to you without going through the CTO first
- Ongoing: the things you build stay working. You surface opportunities nobody asked you to find. The hours you remove are measurable, and clients renew because the systems you built earned their trust
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Demonstrated experience building and shipping AI-powered tools, automations, or applications that other people actually used
- Working fluency with LLM APIs, prompt design and iteration, retrieval, and agentic workflows
- Ability to build and deploy web applications — comfortable coding/vibe coding JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, APIs, and databases, whether hand-written or AI-assisted
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation platform (Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar)
- Familiarity with version control and modern deployment workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-directed and able to prioritize, scope, and deliver without daily direction
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications:**
- Agency or client-services background — you understand billable hours, scope creep, and client relationships
- Experience with Webflow or other CMS-heavy site work
- Familiarity with CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce, and experience integrating AI with them
- Security instincts around authentication, secrets management, data isolation, and prompt injection
- Data work: migrations, CSV wrangling, and schema design for messy real-world data
- Design sensibility — you don't need to be a designer, but what you build shouldn't be ugly
- Experience building MCP servers or custom tool integrations
Madak is a place where curiosity, autonomy, and collaboration intersect. If you're passionate about designing and building meaningful digital experiences and want to grow with a team that values detail and creativity, we want to hear from you.
