Strategic AI Partnership Manager

Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a Strategic AI Partnership Manager to join our ever-evolving AI Strategy team and help secure and manage the strategic AI partnerships required to accelerate AI impact across Global Payments.

Our inclusive and global teams win together every day. We're proud to have some of the best minds in the industry, creating an environment where you can learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact. The people, the energy, and the connections are unmatched.

As part of our AI Strategy team, you'll work at the intersection of strategy, technology, transformation, and commercial partnerships to help shape how AI is adopted across Global Payments. Together, we're identifying high-value opportunities, building strategic relationships with key AI providers, and ensuring our investments deliver meaningful business outcomes at scale.

Come and be part of an ever-evolving company and discover opportunities that go beyond borders.

What you'll own

  • Own the AI vendor landscape and market map by maintaining a continuously updated view of the AI vendor ecosystem across priority categories and tracking capability and strategic fit against Global Payments' goals.
  • Design and manage the end-to-end partner selection process, including evaluation methodology, initial shortlisting, structured assessment, commercial review, and final recommendation.
  • Manage partner relationships post-deal through regular engagement and formal quarterly business reviews that track performance against agreed partnership goals and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders who own or manage relationships with the same partners, leading the AI-specific dimension of the relationship and aligning partnership activity to enterprise AI priorities, adoption, and organisational impact.
  • Translate the vendor landscape into clear partnership recommendations, helping the AI Strategy team identify which external capabilities best support enterprise AI priorities.
  • Maintain clear visibility of partner performance and strategic fit, ensuring emerging risks, capability gaps, and opportunities are surfaced through agreed governance and review mechanisms.
  • Coordinate partnership activity across relevant stakeholders so vendor evaluation, selection, and ongoing relationship management remain aligned to agreed enterprise goals.
  • Support the development of AI partnership governance, performance reporting, and executive-level updates that demonstrate value and business impact.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in strategic partnerships, vendor management, commercial strategy, business development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess vendors, suppliers, and capabilities against strategic business requirements.
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with experience developing recommendations and business cases for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience designing or operating structured evaluation, procurement, selection, or partnership processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work across business, technology, commercial, procurement, and operational teams and translate strategic goals into partner requirements.
  • A strong focus on AI adoption, organisational impact, and business value rather than technical solution ownership.
  • A disciplined approach to governance, performance tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.

It's a bonus if you have

  • Experience supporting AI, cloud, enterprise technology, data, or digital transformation partnerships.
  • Experience within payments, fintech, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of the AI vendor ecosystem, including hyperscalers, frontier AI providers, and enterprise software platforms.
  • Experience managing strategic suppliers through formal governance forums, executive steering committees, or quarterly business reviews.
  • Experience evaluating emerging technologies and translating market developments into strategic recommendations.
  • A mindset that reflects our values: thinking like a client, acting like an owner, and winning as one team.
