AI Strategy Consultant

About the Role

Searce is building out its GCC practice across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. The Forward Deployed Engineer sits at the point where client business problems get turned into concrete AI use cases. You'll work directly with client stakeholders to understand what they're actually trying to solve, then translate that into a scoped, deliverable technical approach that our delivery teams can execute against.

This is not a pure engineering role and not a pure consulting role. It's the bridge between the two: comfortable in a room with a client's business leadership, and equally comfortable scoping what an AI/data solution needs to look like underneath.

What You'll Do

• Run structured discovery with client business stakeholders to surface the problems actually worth solving, not just the stated wishlist
• Lead workshops and working sessions that turn ambiguous business goals into a prioritized set of candidate AI use cases
• Partner with Searce's technical presales and delivery teams to pressure-test feasibility and turn business requirements into specifications the technical team can build against. You drive the translation, they cover the technical depth
• Own the requirements document and use case backlog for each engagement, keeping it current as client priorities shift
• Represent Searce credibly in client conversations, speaking to what's realistic without needing to be the one writing the code
• Support pre-sales: shape opportunities, contribute to proposals and solution narratives, and work with the technical team to size effort
• Stay embedded through delivery to keep what's being built aligned with what the client actually asked for, flagging drift early
• Act as the connective layer between the client and Searce's technical bench, resolving misalignment before it becomes a delivery problem
• Build client relationships that surface expansion opportunities, and feed those back directly to the Managing Partner

What We're Looking For

Experience

• Approximately 10 years of total professional experience
• At least 5 years in management consulting (strategy, technology, or transformation consulting)
• A track record of working directly with senior client stakeholders on ambiguous, business-first problems

Technical Background

• A degree or academic background in computing, data or AI is a plus, not a prerequisite. Most strong candidates for this role come from consulting and won't arrive with deep technical depth
• Genuine comfort with technical concepts and a real willingness to build fluency in AI/ML fundamentals on the job. Searce's pre-sales and delivery technical teams provide structured support and upskilling
• Prior exposure to cloud or data platforms is helpful but not required (Google Cloud is a plus, given Searce's partnership)

Other

• Strong written and verbal English
• Arabic is a strong plus, not required
• Willingness and ability to sustain a heavy regional travel schedule (approximately 3 weeks per month)
