About Mindsets Ventures

Mindsets Ventures (MV) is the venture studio of Mindsets. It builds and backs early-stage startups through two arms that work together. The Build Arm generates and validates ideas internally, then hires EIRs or co-founders to run them. The Invest Arm puts cash and sweat equity into external startups at pre-seed and seed.

For founders, MV is more than a source of capital. It works as a hands-on operating partner and brings:

  • A tested playbook: a 30+ step venture-building process with all necessary templates. It was benchmarked against Y Combinator, Techstars and global best practices, and refined on more than 20 internally built ventures.
  • Sector knowledge: expertise in construction tech, energy, mobility, infrastructure, proptech, the circular economy, data, healthcare and manufacturing, drawn from the parent company's consulting work and its wider network.
  • Investor access: a network of VCs, angel syndicates and individual investors investing from pre-seed to seed.

Together, this lowers early-stage risk and lets founders reach validation, traction and fundraising faster than they could alone.

Venture Context

AI is part of daily work, but it forgets everything. Every conversation starts from zero, so people keep re-explaining their context and the answers stay generic. Inside organizations it is worse, because decisions, people, risks and goals are scattered across chats, documents, emails and meetings, and knowledge leaves with every person who moves on.

Storing information is not the same as remembering. What organizations lose is the reasoning behind their decisions, meaning why a choice was made, who shaped it and what has changed since.

Yara is the Brain behind every AI interaction. It captures conversations, files and over time emails and meetings, and turns them into a connected graph of people, decisions, goals, risks and constraints. It keeps the original idea and the reasoning behind each decision, tracks how both evolve, and brings the right context into every answer.

Most memory tools save what was said. Yara understands how decisions are made at each point in time, so it helps teams make the next one better. It is model-agnostic, so the memory belongs to the organization and not to an AI vendor, and it grows more valuable with every interaction.

Every team gets an institutional brain that never forgets and never leaves.

Market Opportunity

Today's AI products optimize for single-turn answers, not accumulated understanding. The next unlock is not a better model; it is memory, context, and continuity layered on top of the models people already use.

Venture Idea

Yara is the institutional memory layer for AI, preserving how organizations think, decide, and evolve so every AI interaction builds on what came before.

YARA continuously builds a “Brain”: a connected memory of the people, decisions, goals, risks, and insights behind your work, drawn from conversations, files, and integrations like email and meetings. Rather than treating each prompt in isolation, YARA surfaces the relevant prior context to make every AI response more specific and more useful.

For users and teams, this translates into three key benefits:

  1. Continuity: AI that remembers your context, decisions, and history, so you never start from scratch or re-explain yourself.
  2. Specificity: Responses grounded in what actually matters to you and your work, instead of generic answers.
  3. Shared Memory: A single, relational Brain that connects people, projects, and knowledge across an organization, with strict isolation between projects.

YARA is currently in its testing and validation stage. A working prototype is being tested in real-world use cases and evaluated against defined metrics. The next phase is turning the prototype into a scalable, production-ready product.

The Opportunity

As a Technical Co-Founder, you will own YARA's technical vision and build, taking it from a working prototype to a scalable product. You will lead the architecture and shape the product direction from the ground up.

Working closely with the Mindsets Ventures team, you will set the technical direction, build the product with real-world use cases, and lead the founding team as YARA grows.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Has experience in building and shipping production software as a full-stack engineer, comfortable owning a product end to end across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
  • Is equally comfortable in AI/ML infrastructure, such as how data is structured, stored, and retrieved for AI applications and how large language models are orchestrated, with a bonus for those who have worked as an entrepreneur, founder, or early engineer at a startup.
  • Has a strong entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable taking ownership and building something from the ground up.
  • Thrives in ambiguous, early-stage, resource-constrained environments, can move forward with minimal direction, and is comfortable leading the technical build end to end with the support of the venture building team.
  • Is genuinely excited about the memory problem in AI: making AI remember context and get sharper over time instead of building another chat wrapper, and continuously challenges their own assumptions.
  • Communicates complex technical ideas clearly and tailors the message to the audience.

What You Will Do

  • Own the product development end to end, from prototype to a scalable product, based on user and customer testing and feedback.
  • Define how product performance is measured, and build the testing and evaluation framework behind it.
  • Set engineering practices and hire the founding team as the company grows.
  • Work directly with the Mindsets Ventures team on product strategy, fundraising, and the venture roadmap.
  • Continuously recommend next steps to move the venture forward, flagging when a larger pivot is needed based on evidence.

Founder Benefits

This is a remote, flexible role. The selected Technical Co-Founder will join YARA as an equity partner alongside Mindsets Ventures, with a deal structure customized based on each founder's contribution, expertise, and level of commitment, and including milestone-based incentives to reward progress and impact. The co-founder will also have access to a dedicated budget for YARA and full access to the services and operational support that Mindsets Ventures provides.
