Role Overview Our client is seeking experienced Actuarial Professionals to support the development and training of advanced Artificial Intelligence systems. In this role, you will create, evaluate, and refine realistic actuarial scenarios involving risk assessment, pricing, reserving, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial modelling. Leveraging your actuarial expertise, you will ensure AI-generated outputs are technically accurate, methodologically sound, and aligned with professional actuarial standards and real-world insurance and financial services practices. Key Responsibilities AI Training & Actuarial Content Development Develop realistic actuarial tasks covering insurance, pensions, healthcare, consulting, and financial services applications. Create technically accurate scenarios involving pricing, reserving, forecasting, profitability analysis, and risk modelling. Produce detailed actuarial solutions supported by appropriate assumptions, methodologies, calculations, and professional conclusions. Ensure all actuarial content reflects current industry practices and accepted professional standards. Risk Analysis & Model Evaluation Review AI-generated actuarial outputs for technical accuracy, logical consistency, and practical application. Validate assumptions, reserve calculations, pricing methodologies, and financial projections. Assess AI-generated responses involving actuarial modelling, loss development, and reserve adequacy. Improve AI outputs by incorporating sound actuarial judgment and industry best practices. Quality Assurance & Technical Validation Ensure actuarial content complies with established actuarial principles and professional methodologies. Identify inconsistencies, modelling errors, unsupported assumptions, and calculation inaccuracies. Refine AI-generated content to improve clarity, reliability, and technical precision. Maintain consistently high standards of quality across all assigned deliverables. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with senior reviewers and actuarial subject matter experts. Apply calibration feedback to improve the consistency and quality of assigned work. Support the continuous enhancement of AI performance through the creation of high-quality actuarial training data. Deliver assignments within agreed timelines while maintaining quality expectations. Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. Professional Experience 3–8 years of professional actuarial experience within: Insurance Actuarial Consulting Pensions Healthcare Financial Services Demonstrated experience in: Actuarial Reserving Pricing Risk Assessment Forecasting Financial Modelling Profitability Analysis Professional Qualifications Progress toward a recognized actuarial qualification with multiple examinations successfully completed through one or more of the following professional bodies: Society of Actuaries (SOA) Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) Equivalent regional actuarial professional body Core Competencies Actuarial Reserving Pricing & Product Development Risk Modelling Financial Modelling Forecasting Profitability Analysis Loss Development Analysis Reserve Adequacy Assessment Statistical Analysis Quantitative Modelling Insurance Risk Management Analytical Thinking Data Interpretation Technical Accuracy Problem Solving Written Communication Attention to Detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or quality assurance is an advantage but not required. Strong understanding of insurance products, actuarial methodologies, and financial risk management. Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts in a clear and structured manner. Experience developing or reviewing actuarial reports, pricing models, or reserve analyses.
