This is a strategic role focused on reviewing a substantial capital investment programme and identifying opportunities to improve performance through AI, data and digital transformation.

Responsibilities
- Review existing capital investment programmes and identify opportunities for AI-enabled transformation.

- Build business cases and investment propositions for priority initiatives.
- Lead opportunities from initial strategy and assessment through proof of concept, pilot and implementation planning.
- Engage with executive stakeholders, operational teams and technical specialists to drive change and adoption.
- Establish a clear roadmap for delivering measurable improvements in cost, efficiency and programme performance.
Experience Required
- Significant experience in senior strategy, business transformation or digital transformation leadership.
- Strong understanding of AI strategy, Generative AI and emerging agentic AI capabilities, including practical business applications.
- Experience working with large capital programmes, infrastructure projects or complex operational environments.
- Proven ability to develop investment cases and translate strategic opportunities into deliverable initiatives.
- Experience establishing new AI, data or digital capabilities.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to identify opportunities that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience within utilities, energy, water, infrastructure, engineering or other asset-intensive industries would be particularly relevant.
