Role Description The AIA Takaful Sales Advisor is a full-time remote role responsible for promoting and advising on AIA Public Takaful’s protection and savings plans. On a day-to-day basis, the advisor identifies prospective customers, conducts needs-based consultations, and provides clear explanations of takaful products and benefits. The role includes nurturing long-term customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and supporting customers through the enrollment and claims processes. The advisor also participates in online training sessions, stays updated on product and regulatory changes, and uses digital tools and platforms to manage leads, follow-up activities, and sales reporting.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build trust, understand customer needs, and maintain positive, long-term relationships.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and sales skills to explain takaful solutions clearly, handle objections, and close sales ethically and professionally.
  • Candidates should possess capabilities in training and self-development to participate in ongoing product, compliance, and sales training and apply new knowledge in daily work.
  • Basic knowledge of financial services or insurance/takaful concepts is beneficial, along with an interest in Shariah-compliant financial solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and use digital tools (CRM systems, video conferencing, and online communication platforms).
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or advisory roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and achieve performance targets is important.
