AI/ML Senior Technical Director

Job Description Summary The Sr Director – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Product Director is responsible for prioritizing, funding and driving Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning initiatives that span multiple business lines in collaboration with the BL Product Management and Functional Owners to align strategic direction and ensure feasibility across business lines and in liaise with the GEV AIML foundry team to accelerate the implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to exponentially increase our teams productivity and enhance our products capabilities Job Description Key responsibilities Responsible for prioritizing, funding and driving AI/ML initiatives that span multiple business lines. Collaborates with BL Product Management and Functional Owners to align strategic direction and ensure feasibility across business lines. Co-build cross-BLs use cases with Functional Owners, Electrification DT and HQ GenAI team Functional use case project management (Cross-BL) Liaise with GEV AIML foundry Follow up quick moving technology and engage with partners (Google, Amazon) IT risk management (Cyber-security, platform, …) (External product) Support the definition of strategic roadmaps for GEV Electrification business. Manage Risks & Dependencies between organizations. Define and implement processes for coordination between organizations Qualifications/Requirements Master’s degree in computer science or engineering. Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the computer science domains, incl. software development project management, risk management, strategy. Along with established leadership credentials. Desired Characteristics Ability to influence a highly matrixed organization with varying levels of experience, competence and buy-in. The position calls for strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate geographically and culturally diverse teams. The Sr Director – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Product Director will combine strategic capability with a commitment to delivery, and the ability to be hands-on where required. Experience in Agile project management, Lean, Innovation methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking) Program Management capabilities for complex multi-business projects. Financial dexterity to manage business cases and support Prod. Mgt. and Marketing in business cases definition. Collaborative team player able to work across businesses and geographies.
