AI/ML Solutions Architect (AWS) — B2B Contract, Remote

We're looking for a AI/ML Solutions Architect with a strong AWS background to join our client, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner known for over a decade of solid

engineering and genuinely taking care of their people.

Fully remote, B2B, project-based engagements with a rate of $45–55 per hour depending on experience. Strong delivery on the first project opens the door to follow-on work.

The role

You'll engage directly with clients, design solutions, and lead the technical implementation. This is a senior technologist position. You architect and design, sometimes lead a small team of 2–3 engineers, and sometimes single-handedly build a smaller MVP or PoC yourself.

The project landscape is mostly green-field, spanning LLMs and GenAI, NLP, Computer Vision, recommendation systems, and conversational AI. Broad exposure helps, but deep expertise in at least one of these domains is required.

What you'll do

Leadership and strategy

• Take end-to-end ownership of AI/ML solutions, from concept to deployment, as the key technical decision-maker
• Lead and mentor a small team of AI and cloud engineers when the project calls for it
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, translating business problems into working technology

Architecture and development

• Architect and build scalable, production-grade AI/ML services on AWS
• Work extensively with LLMs (Amazon Bedrock and external providers), RAG, agentic workflows, and advanced prompt engineering
• Solve applied CV and NLP use cases like translation, transcription, Text2SQL, document intelligence, and intent recognition

Infrastructure and MLOps

• Use AWS managed services, serverless compute, and intelligent document processing
• Build and maintain resilient ETL and data pipelines
• Define infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
• Keep exploring new cloud and AI tech

Must have

• 5+ years in software/cloud engineering, strong production AWS experience
• Hands-on LLM/GenAI work plus deep expertise in at least one AI domain (NLP, CV, RecSys)
• Strong Python and MLOps fundamentals
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
• Fluent English and confidence working directly with clients
