To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Compliance & Learning Specialist in our Maintenance Training Department. The primary responsibility of the position is the creative development of content to be used in computer-based and instructor-led training as well as developing training aids, documents, and user guides for applications, software, safety, and tooling. This individual will also interface with the Learning Development Specialist and e-Learning Specialist to provide training content for uploading into the company’s Learning Management System. The successful candidate will have experience using and learning computer-based programs along with skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat/Captivate. This position will report to the Manager of Maintenance Training.

Essential Duties:

• Interface with the Learning Development Specialist for new/revised training activities to be developed in the company’s Learning Management System
• Assist with the acquisition and creation of picture, video, and presentation materials for both computer-based and instructor-led activities for all subject areas affecting the Maintenance Department
• Develop and revise training materials/presentations for computer-based and instructor-led activities
• Develop and revise training aids, documents, and user guides for applications, software, safety, and tooling for compliance
• Interface with the Learning Development Specialist and e-Learning Specialist to provide training content to be uploaded to the Learning Management System
• Act as a Learning Management System Content Developer/Domain Administrator

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

• Experience using and learning computer-based programs with an added emphasis on skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Possession of a team-oriented attitude to achieve department goals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to comprehend and explain procedures and systems in concise verbal, written, and multimedia formats relative to technical instruction

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of design, development, and implementation of eLearning
• Understanding and ability to apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of instructional design and adult learning
• Experience using Adobe Captivate
• Experience in rapid instructional design and the delivery required for eLearning
• Experience editing and designing multi-media eLearning using audio, video, and simulations
• Possess an understanding of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM)

Work Environment:

• Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
• Some travel may be required

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Employment is contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

Starting Rate:

$48,000.00/Annual Salary - 56,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
